Girls Not Brides is a partnership of more than 1000 civil society organisations from over 95 countries committed to ending child marriage and enabling girls to fulfil their potential. The partnership was initiated in 2011 by The Elders to address the lack of strong international visibility and leadership and the urgent need for collective action. HDF supported the development of national partnership workshops, a robust monitoring and evaluation framework, and targeted advocacy at national and inter-governmental levels.
